BREAKFAST

Q……You are a B&B so why charge extra for breakfast.
A…….We decided to give bookers a choice to order breakfast for 2 reasons. Guests were taking breakfast because they think its FREE as its included in the price - and they leave much food waste. Also guests who do not require breakfast are paying for breakfast - and that cannot be fair.

Q…….Hi, my questions please: Is breakfast charged separately in addition to the booking fee.
A….…Hi there, YES breakfast is an optional extra – breakfast menu and charges on request.

Q…….We are both Vegans… can we bring our own breakfast food please.
A…….We appreciate that our breakfast menu may not appeal to Vegans and Vegetarians, so we will allow these guests to bring their own food on 2 conditions – they eat only in our Dining Room and pay a £5 fee to allow for setting the table and cleaning.

Q……Can I have the menu and the price list please
A……Hi there and thanks for your enquiry. Sadly there is not enough space here to provide a Breakfast Menu, and price list. Please use the ‘’ask a question’’ form for details.

Q…… Hello Cilbrwyn. I will need to make a very early start in the morning after my stay, so what is the eariest time for breakfast.
A…….Breakfast is generally served between 7 and 9 am. Earlier or later by arrangement. Packed Continental Breakfast is also available.

BEDROOMS

Q……For our family we need a family room for 2 adults and 2 children, can we put a travel cot up, 1 room for 2 adults and 1 room for 1 adult.
A……Hi there and thanks for your enquiry. Our family suite consists of 2 rooms with 2 double beds and 2 single beds with en-suite facilities. Both rooms are on the same floor and are adjacent - suitable for families. Book soon to secure. Olha

Q…...We are a family of 3 adults and one small child… do we have to book 2 rooms please.
A……Generally for children over 6 years old – who will need to use the single bed – they are treated as adults. Children under 6 are not charged. Better you book the larger of the triple rooms which is more spacious – Elinor’s Bedroom. The 2 Triple Attic bedrooms are adjacent and best for families.

Q……How do I decide which room is best for me and my family
A…… It is better for us to describe briefly our Bedrooms. 2 triple bedrooms (One double bed and 1 single bed) in the large attic.(2 flights of stairs) AND 2 double bedrooms on the 1st floor (one flight of stairs). Prices on-line to suit every pocket. Details of each room with sizes on website.

Q……Hello. I am just on my own… do I get any discount for not using the other bed.
A……Hi single booker and thanks for your question. Each and every room is priced separately for 1, 2 or 3 occupants, so if you are single you will be charged as a single occupant. We have discounts for multiple stays.

VARIOUS QUESTIONS

Q……Hello we are hoping to book in August for 5 days and would like to know 1. We don’t have sat-nav or smart phones – how will we find Cilbrwyn. 2. We don’t have a car, so is there a bus service from the hotel.. thank you
A…… Hello and hope you can book with us. We send ALL bookers a Map and specific directions on locating us in our Booking Confirmation email. Unfortunately our rural bus service is just 1 per hour, but is generally punctual and will get you to most places. Bookers who do not have transport stay for our tranquil surrounding and many local countryside walks etc.

Q……My wife is struggling with a walking disability…. Have you any special facilities for disabled people.
A…… As a small B&B we regret that we do not have any special disabled facilities e.g. lifts / special toilets / wheelchair access etc. We do not recommend bookers with mobility issues book the Attic Bedrooms.

Q……Can we hire the whole house please.
A……We do not offer Cilbrwyn as a self-contained unit or holiday cottage or for self-catering, but bookers are free to book ALL our 4 rooms as a B&B facility, subject to availability.

PARKING

Q……HI Is there a car park charge and do I have to book
A……Our on-site car park is FREE and you will not have to book a space. Our car park is suitable for 4 cars, but may have to be managed at peak times, it is secure and is used at owners risk.

Q…….I have a large Transit Van which I use for my work… is Cilbrwyn ok with this.
A…… Bookers who have larger than a car vehicle, are asked to inform the B&B during booking, as we have alternative parking facilities which will need to be arranged.

Q…… Hello there, I am coming to stay with you as you seem to be the nearest to the OFF-ROAD SKILLS school at Ystalyfera. Will I be able to securely park my Bike please.
A…… As we are the nearest B&B to the 2 ORS centres at Ystalyfera, we are fortunate to be able to accommodate many many bikers. No problem on parking, bedroom arrangements or drying-out clothes.
